The goal of the Gladwin County Zoning Department is to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of the residents of Gladwin County through the Gladwin County Zoning Ordinance. This ordinance provides for the orderly development of the county, providing, in the interests of health and safety, conditions under which certain buildings and structures may be erected and used, to conserve the value of property in the county, and that building development may be allowed to the best advantage of the county.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until Noon. Field inspections are done in the afternoon.
