| Credit Card Payments
As of June 1, 2005, the Gladwin County Clerk's Office began accepting credit card payments for fees and for Circuit Court fines and costs. To use these services call Government Payment Service, Inc. (GPS) at 888-604-7888, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, or by logging on to the GPS website at www.governmentpayment.com. Most major credit cards are accepted-Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. GPS faxes us a confirmation immediately after payment has been made. That fax specifies the time and date the payment was made. Confirmations that arrive outside of business hours will be processed the next business day, but will be dated on the day the payment was made. For ordinary fees there is a 5% service fee for this service that will be charged to your credit card. You will need to use Pay Location Code 5124. For Circuit Court fines and costs the service fees will be charged to your credit card according to the fee schedule at right. You will need to use Pay Location Code 5125. |
